The Note

The Note is an interactive experience in which players can control a mysterious person who doesn't know anything - neither where they are nor what their circumstances are.

In theory, the game is a playable experiment in poetry and narrative that tries to affect players' feelings. In practice, however, all you have to do is run around while you read some verses on the screen and listen to a voice that is speaking to you.

It may seem overly simple, but The Note has two different endings. The first, and most basic, ends with the death of your character, which will happen if you only walk in a straight line. To achieve the second ending, you need to pay closer attention... and you may be surprised at what happens.

The Note is a minimalist interactive experience that draws players in with its beautiful graphics and words. Its biggest problem is that it's very short, and you may be done with it in as little as five minutes.
